Proverbs 31:28-31 (GNT)

28 Her children show their appreciation, and her husband praises her.

29 He says, “Many women are good wives, but you are the best of them all.”

30 Charm is deceptive and beauty disappears, but a woman who honors the Lord should be praised.

31 Give her credit for all she does. She deserves the respect of everyone.

World Water Day

Today we recognize and celebrate the gift of clean and readily available drinking water, but so many people across the world can not say the same. How can we make a difference? Educate your children, learn to use less water for daily tasks, do your part not to contribute to water pollution, clean up a local waterway, the possibilities go on and on. Be mindful, be proactive and don’t take the gift of clean water for granted; do your part!

Holiday Open House is going down rain or shine!

We are preparing for the worst in the face of hurricane Florence, but we hope and pray for the best and still plan to have fun even if the weather is bad. Kids are welcome and we’d love to see them come dressed for Halloween! I also have a painting craft and indoor activity planned for the kids to keep them occupied so moms can shop and have some time to fellowship with others. Hope to see you Saturday!!!OpenHouse2018 PIC(2)

Do you recycle?

My personal life in recent years has presented me with significant financial struggles, so I’ve had to get creative when it comes to gift giving. This year I found this great idea to reuse and recycle to make a super cute and super useful gift using paper rolls, dryer lint, and paper shreds….check out these DIY fire starters!
